The Trauma2Therapy Institute is pioneering in Greece by bringing Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy closer to Greek mental health professionals through its innovative Pre-Level One trainings. These trainings, which are held globally and are now offered in Greece by Trauma2Therapy, aim to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of this revolutionary approach. Through these specialized teachings, professionals acquire the essential tools to effectively integrate IFS into their therapeutic practices. The Pre-Level One training enhances their professional development and offers the opportunity to register as IFS-informed therapists in the official professional directory of the institute. This significantly broadens their network, both in terms of collaborators and clients seeking specifically trained IFS therapists.

The complexity and high demands of the IFS approach go beyond simple theoretical training. Despite the valuable material available in the literature, the Pre-Level One training is crucial for a meaningful understanding and reliable application of the model. During this four-day training, held twice a year by Despina Plousiou and Alexia Rothman, participants gain a deeper understanding and the tools to integrate IFS into their professional practice with confidence and proficiency.

Moreover, Despina Plousiou, the co-founder of Trauma2Therapy, has completed Level Three IFS training and was trained by Richard Schwartz and Frank Anderson themselves. As the translator of Frank Anderson's Transcending Trauma and the person responsible for the scientific editing of the Greek IFS terminology, Despina plays a central role in introducing and adapting the IFS theory in Greece. She is also responsible for the scientific editing of Richard Schwartz's works, which are published in Greek by Papassotiriou and Dioptra Publishers, contributing significantly to the development of the IFS scientific and therapeutic field in our country.
